This is the time of year when we make our list of resolutions for the New Year. We reflect back on the past year and take note of the areas we’d like to change. Here are a few of the top New Year’s Resolutions people make every year.

In all likelihood, if you’ve thought about making a New Year’s resolution it involves one or more of the items on this list. Now take a closer look at items 2, 4, 5, 9 and 11. It’s quite possible these particular resolutions have been on your list before or maybe they should be on your list but they aren’t. Maybe they aren’t on the list because you have a problem hearing?
IT’S TIME TO ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS
- Do you know that because of your hearing loss you won’t spend more time with friends and family because it’s a struggle for you to hear them?
- Is your hearing loss preventing you from enjoying life more today than you did 5 or 10 years ago?
- Would you like to take a class at the local community college and learn something new, but you know you’ll never be able to hear the professor?
- Would you like to volunteer but know you won’t be able to communicate effectively and are afraid too many new and noisy situations will just be too frustrating?
